The cat In the hat

This book is about two kids stuck inside on a wet day. Those two kids were called Sally and Conrad. All they did was sit staring at the window and look at the rain go drip drop drip drop' and then BUMP went the door. They stopped and stared the thing stepped on the mat. "Hello kids"
He said. He finally came inside Sally and Conrad screamed " aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" . They went under the bed and then the cat said "what ya hiding from??" "Monster "they both screamed . Then the cat he found out it was him they were scared of. He went into the closet and he said "allow me ahhhhhh". So they both ran down stairs and the cat came too. They both were quite scared of him. So the he introduced himself. "Hello my name is the cat in the hat". They both looked at each other with confusion. So then he said "well let's have fun!!" So then they went into the kitchen and he got his cupcake machine and he got his friend to bake them so they sat down and watched. "So what you do get a jar of jam put that the whole thing toothpaste the whole thing' six packets of minty lollies can of hot chills peppers ' seven harry potter jelly beans and purple food colouring." Now you get the baking tray and then you get the mixture put it in the tray . Now put it in the oven and cook it for 12 hours. Now lets go play some tennis! Next 12 hours. Cat we have to go home the cupcakes!! When that got in the door they walked onto the floor and fell straight through. Ahh . So then they got to the end and the house was ruined "CAT" mum going to be home any second now!!!" Get out" they both said and thing 1 and 2 went with him. Then the cat came back in with the cleaning machine. The cat and the thing one and two . They cleaned the whole in time for the party that they planned. There mum got home just before they fine shed they ran out the cat an d the thing one and twos and then they got ready for the party and they made it in time. Algebra with numbers

Our class has been doing algebra the last one I did was picture pattern this one I'm doing now I number pattern

That's algebra numbers (pattern)

If you have done you don't need to know to do it cause you will be great at it
All you have to do is write a pattern of numbers that has a plus ' minus' and equals.
That's all you have to do for algebra number patterns

Calander Art

Our school has been making calendar art for our family's.
This was my calendar art.

This kind of art is Aboriginal.
Its where you have lots of dots and there's medium' X large' large 'small .
You have to practise what your going to do first because you cant start it straight away.
All you have to do is fill it up with dots. You have to do your backround first then you can cut out your  pics that you have drawn.

Algebra patterns

Our class has been doing algebra
If you know what alga bra patterns look like this is what it is.

So that's what it looks like.

If you have done an algebra pattern you will be an expert!

I'm going tell you how we made it.

First you get a hexagon shape that's plastic has a outline to keep the shape in.
Now get two colours that looks like this

and now you make a pattern like red' blue 'red' blue and just keep repeating it over and over again till  you want to have another colour. then you just keep going on till the whole thing is done then you have finished algebra patterns.

Te Reo with Mr Rurawhe

Our class had student teachers and we had Mr Rurawhe and we did Te reo and we had to draw a self portrait of our Tinana of ourself' and then had to write the maori name for the parts of our body.

We named all the body parts that we knew and then the last lot when we had two or one names left we checked with Mr R and he said yes or no.

3D and 2D

Our class have been making nets and then you transform it into a box.

This is a picture of my net

Here is a picture of my box.

Now I'm going to tell you how to make it

You start of by using your ruler and you do the first rectangle big and then the second one slightly smaller. But they are still as long as the first one. Then you repeat that pattern just one more time.

Now once you have done that you make some tabs. First you make a straight line and then you make another straight line across the top like the net make them big enough so they can reach the other side of the box. Now you do the same with the side of the net don't glue it yet other wise you will end up with a tunnel! Now once you have done the other side you make a little but big enough to attach it together you do it on a side that has nothing on it you only do it once.
Now go get your scissors and your glue stick. OK once you have got your scissors and glue stick. Now you glue the tab that has only one thing on it (which is that tab that your about to glue). ok now yu glue the tab that has no thing beside it witch is the one that is landscape. Now the tab that is glued you join the box together like my box. But the tab you glued has to go inside it so that it dosent show the tab.
